This is an annual cash award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families, and who are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, and cannot have already earned an undergraduate degree. Please contact us for application information!

Violet Richardson Award

Outstanding Service Award
Each club year, a non-cash award is given to a local woman who has demonstrated that she has indeed gone above and beyond the call of duty to share her time; expertise; and her dollars to the betterment of women in the community. This award, an honorary plaque, is usually given at the end of the club year at one of the final meetings.

Project Independence
Soroptimist and Women for Women International have teamed up for Project Independence - a joint effort to help women survivors in war torn countries including: Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Rwanda.
