Trash Pick-Up
Four times a year, we meet at the new 4th Street Overpass wearing our blue SI of the Arizona Peaks t-shirts, our orange safety vests, trash bags & sticks in hand, and start our community service project by picking up trash that has accumulated on our wonderful new overpass. It takes us about an hour to clean up – and believe it or not, we have FUN doing it! It’s our environmental donation – one of our six areas of service!
Installation Dinner
At the close of each club year, we get together to install new officers, and to give kudos to the current regime for all their hard work! It’s a wonderful evening just to get together; to bond; to meet one last time before the summer hiatus.
The intent of all of our activities is to fill our service goals of making a difference for women in the following areas: health; education; the environment; human rights & the status of women; economic & social development; and international goodwill & understanding.
